Weekly Viewer Drawing Rules

NOTE: Due to the various regulations governing "games of chance" around the world, the American Quilter's Society is forced to restrict eligibility to US residents only. Void where prohibited.

1. How to Enter: No Purchase Necessary. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) on October 6, 2008, until 5:00 p.m. CT on October 31, 2008, you may enter the AQS Online Quilt Contest Weekly Drawings (the "Weekly Viewer Drawings") by visiting the American Quilter's Society Web site (www.AmericanQuilter.com), view the contest quilts, and complete the online Weekly Viewer Drawings entry form by providing your name, complete address, phone number, and valid e-mail address. This is a Web-access-only contest. Mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted. When you enter the Weekly Viewer Drawings, you consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminders for upcoming American Quilter’s Society promotions and information about American Quilter’s Society membership as well as e-mails from the Contest Affiliates. The American Quilter’s Society and the Contest Affiliates will not sell or trade e-mail addresses. Schroeder Publishing Company, Inc. d/b/a American Quilter’s Society (“Sponsor”), their affiliates, distributors, dealers, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, and any and all Internet servers and access provider(s) are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, server providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in these Weekly Viewer Drawings; inability to access the American Quilter’s Society Web site; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof. All electronic entries become the property of the American Quilter’s Society and will not be traded or sold by AQS.
2. Eligibility: This Weekly Viewer Drawings are open only to legal residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions, and commonwealths (excluding Puerto Rico) who are 18 years of age or older. Officers, directors, employees and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses) of Schroeder Publishing Company, Inc., as well as all other participating product suppliers, their affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and their advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. Online entrants may also receive information from Sponsor regarding other promotional offers. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. All participants and/or entrants release the Sponsor and their agents, advertising and promotion agencies, affiliated companies, and prize suppliers, and all of their respective affiliated companies, employees, officers, directors, and shareholders, from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with each entrant’s participation and/or entry in the Weekly Viewer Drawings and/or their receipt or use of any prize awarded in these Weekly Viewer Drawings. Any and all warranties and guarantees are subject to the respective manufacturer’s terms and conditions. These Weekly Viewer Drawings are governed by U.S. law and are subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited, including (but not limited to) Florida, New York, and Rhode Island.
3. Drawing and Notification: The prizewinners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on:
   • Week #1: October 10, 2008
   • Week #2: October 17, 2008
   • Week #3: October 24, 2008
   • Week #4: October 31, 2008
   Potential Winners will be notified by phone only on the following mornings:
   • Week #1: October 14, 2008
   • Week #2: October 21, 2008
   • Week #3: October 28, 2008
   • Week #4: November 4, 2008
   If a potential winner cannot be reached within twenty-four (24) hours from the first notification attempt, then such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance of prize must be confirmed within twenty-four (24) hours from the time personal contact is made with the potential winner, otherwise potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Sponsor’s decisions with respect to the winner and other matters pertaining to the Weekly Viewer Drawings shall be final. If the American Quilter’s Society is unable to contact a potential prizewinner, if the potential winner fails to comply with any of the requirements, or if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, an alternate winner(s) shall be selected. Prizewinners consent to the use of his/her name, photograph, likeness, biography, voice and/or video for advertising and promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. If, in the sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Weekly Viewer Drawings, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Weekly Viewer Drawings, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Weekly Viewer Drawings and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all online entries received as of the termination date. Should the Weekly Viewer Drawings be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the American Quilter’s Society Web site.
4. Weekly Drawing: One (1) entry will be drawn weekly as prizewinner, for a total of four (4) weekly prizewinners over the course of four weeks. Prize lists and descriptions available at Prize Gallery.
5. Release of Liability: By entering these Weekly Viewer Drawings, all entrants, any winners, and their family members, guests, invitees, agents, and employees release and hold harmless Sponsor and Contest Affiliates as well as the respective officers, directors, agents, employees, and shareholders of the foregoing entities and all others associated with the development and execution of these Weekly Viewer Drawings from and against any and all actions, claims, and/or liability with respect to or in any way arising from participation in these Weekly Viewer Drawings and/or acceptance or use of the prizes and any related travel and/or activities, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize (if any) are subject to the manufacturer’s terms therefore, and winner agrees to look solely to such manufacturer for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
6. Winner's List: To learn the name of the prizewinners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope after December 15, 2008, to AQS Online Quilt Contest Weekly Viewer Drawings, P.O. Box 3290, Paducah, KY 42002-3290. Requests received after December 31, 2008, will not be honored. List of winners will be posted on the www.AmericanQuilter.com Web site each week.
