Voter Drawing Rules

NOTE: Due to the various regulations governing "games of chance" around the world, the American Quilter's Society is forced to restrict eligibility to US residents only. Void where prohibited.

1. How to Enter: No Purchase Necessary. Purchase will not increase entry's chance of winning. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) on November 3, 2008, until 5:00 p.m. Central Time on November 28, 2008, you may enter the AQS Online Quilt Contest Voter Drawing (the "Voter Drawing") only by visiting the American Quilter's Society Web site (www.AmericanQuilter.com), review the contest quilts, vote on the contest quilts. All voters will be automatically entered into the random Voter Drawing, except where prohibited. Limit one entry per person. If an entrant uses multiple e-mail addresses to submit more than one online entry, only the first online entry will count. These official rules are also available at the American Quilter's Society Web site or by sending a self addressed, stamped envelope to AQS Online Quilt Contest Voter Rules, P.O. Box 3290, Paducah, KY 42002. When you enter the Voter Drawing at the American Quilter's Society Web site, you consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminders for upcoming AQS promotions and information about American Quilter's Society membership and from Contest Affiliates. E-mail addresses shall be subject to the privacy policies of the American Quilter's Society that is available on the AQS Web site. E-mail address will not be traded or sold at any time. Schroeder Publishing Company, Inc. d/b/a American Quilter's Society ("Sponsor") and the Contest affiliates, their affiliates, distributors, dealers, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, and any and all Internet servers and access provider(s) are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, server providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Voter Drawing; inability to access the American Quilter's Society Web site; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site. All entries become the property of the American Quilter's Society and will not be returned.
2. Eligibility: This Voter Drawing is open only to legal residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions, and commonwealths (excluding Puerto Rico) who are 18 years of age or older. Officers, directors, employees and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses) of Schroeder Publishing Company, Inc. and the Contest Affiliates, their affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and their advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. Online entrants may also receive information from Sponsor and Contest Affiliates regarding other promotional offers. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. All participants and/or entrants release the Sponsor and Contest Affiliates and their agents, advertising and promotion agencies, affiliated companies, Voter Drawing partners and prize suppliers, and all of their respective affiliated companies, employees, officers, directors, and shareholders, from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with each entrant's participation and/or entry in the Voter Drawing and/or their receipt or use of any prize awarded in this Voter Drawing. Any and all warranties and guarantees are subject to the respective manufacturer's terms and conditions. This Voter Drawing is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited, including Florida, New York, and Rhode Island.
3. Voter Drawing Prizes: Eight (8) entries will be drawn, two weekly, over the course of four weeks. Prize lists and descriptions available at Prize Gallery.
4. Drawing and Notification: The Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on:
   • Week #1: November 7, 2008
   • Week #2: November 14, 2008
   • Week #3: November 21, 2008
   • Week #4: November 28, 2008
   Potential Prize Winners will be notified by phone only on the following mornings:
   • Week #1: November 10, 2008
   • Week #2: November 17, 2008
   • Week #3: November 24, 2008
   • Week #4: December 1, 2008
   If a potential winner cannot be reached within twenty-four (24) hours from the first notification attempt, then such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance of prize must be confirmed within twenty-four (24) hours from the time personal contact is made with the potential winner, otherwise potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Sponsor's decision with respect to the winner and other matters pertaining to the Voter Drawing shall be final. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. If, in the Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Voter Drawing, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Voter Drawing, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Voter Drawing and conduct a random drawing to award the voter drawing prize packages using all online entries received as of the termination date (November 30, 2008). Should the Voter Drawing be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the American Quilter's Society Web site.
5. Release of Liability: By entering this Voter Drawing, all entrants, any winners, and their family members, guests, invitees, agents, and employees release and hold harmless Sponsor and Contest Affiliates as well as the respective officers, directors, agents, employees, and shareholders of the foregoing entities and all others associated with the development and execution of this Voter Drawing from and against any and all actions, claims, and/or liability with respect to or in any way arising from participation in this Voter Drawing and/or acceptance or use of the prizes and any related travel and/or activities, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize (if any) are subject to the manufacturer's terms therefore, and winner agrees to look solely to such manufacturer for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
6. Winner's List: To learn the name of the Voter Drawing Weekly Winners, send a self-addressed envelope after December 15, 2008, to AQS Online Quilt Contest Voter Drawing, P.O. Box 3290, Paducah, KY 42002-3290. Requests received after December 31, 2008, will not be honored.
